A conversation in a language I can almost understand

Finding myself in an entirely unfamiliar place—Alexandria, Egypt—and unable to speak the native language, I grasped at any semblance of communicative language that made sense. This video expresses my fascination with the dynamic and nuanced conversation between drivers using their car horns. A conversation in a language I can almost understand was produced as part of my Place In Place Of: Alexandria project.
