Deer in Headlights

I am Jeremy Beaudry and I live in the wonderfully dysfunctional city of Philadelphia.

I am an Assistant Professor in Multimedia at the The University of the Arts.

I am the Director of the Department for the Investigation of Meaning in The Think Tank that has yet to be named, a collaborative group that initiates site-specific conversations, performative actions, and educational projects in order to interrogate contemporary urban issues in the places where we encounter them.

I recently collaborated with Bassam El Baroni of Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum as 1 of 3 curatorial teams curating Manifesta 8, the European biennial of contemporary art. Manifesta 8 ran from October 2, 2010 to January 9, 2011 and was hosted by the Region of Murcia, Spain. Read more about our work here.

I also work with The Action Mill, a design studio that creates tools for people who want to make a tangible social impact.
